1.Take high protein diet, avoid high carbohydrate diet
High protein diet help with insulin resistance problem while high carbohydrate diet make it worse. Insulance resistance cause hyperinsulinemia which has been shown to worsen hyperandrogenisn in polycystic ovarian syndrome, and also lead to obesity. Besides that, insulin resistance leads to diabetes mellitus and increases the risk of cardiovascular disorder.

Take high protein diet

Avoid high carbohydrate diet

2.Take food with low glycemic index, avoid high glycemic index
Foods with low glycemic index break down slowly in the body, lead to slow release of glucose into the blood. Unlike foods with high glycemic index, they break down fast, lead to sudden increase of glucose in the blood, which then lead to sudden spike in insulin concentration (hyperinsulinemia).

3.Take diet with high fiber content
Fiber slow downs digestion, therefore slow down the release of sugar into the blood.

Take fibers

4.Take 5 meals per day
Eating smaller portions more frequently helps you to keep the blood sugar level steady throughout the day. In contrast, when taking 2 or 3 large meals, you get a large dose of blood sugar, causing your body to produce much insulin, which worsen the hyperinsulinemia and also lead to sudden crash of your blood sugar level that causing feeling of fatigue.

Take smaller portions meals more frequently per day

5.Take food with essential fatty acid
Essential fatty acid maintains our metabolism, balances our body hormones and creates healthy environment for conception.

Take food contains essential fatty acid such as omega-3

6.Do exercise
Exercise has been shown to improve insulin sensitivity and increase metabolism. Keep yourself motivated to do exercise regularly. One way is by going to the gym.

Keep yourself motivated to do exercise regularly

7.Avoid nonorganic food
It is a usual thing nowadays in commercial meats, there are presence of large amount of added hormone like estrogen. This will surely make things worse in polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Choose your foods, choose organics

8.Quit coffee
Caffeine has been shown to increase level of estrogen in the body.

No more caffeine
